Surf Rider Foundation presents Hands Across the Sand

Hands Across the Sand is a movement made of people of all walks of life and crosses political affiliations. This movement is not about politics; it is about protection of our coastal economies, oceans, marine wildlife, and fishing industry. Let us share our knowledge, energies and passion for protecting all of the above from the devastating effects of oil drilling.

A Message To The World
Hands Across the Sand is now international. Any person in any country may plan events on this website. This is a peaceful gathering of the people of the world. Planning an event is as simple as this:

• STEP 1:  Go to the beach at 11 AM in your time zone for one hour, rain or shine.
• STEP 2:  Join hands for 15 minutes at 12:00 forming lines in the sand against oil drilling in our coastal waters.
• STEP 3:  Leave only your footprints.
• STEP 4:  Have a great day… enjoy yourself, it’s the beach!

The image is powerful, the message is simple. NO to Offshore Oil Drilling, YES to Clean Energy.

Conditions,   Knee high and clean.  High tide is 1130am and low tide is 540pm.  Looks like an LB wave will be around for the weekend.  Swell may grow for the beginning of next week!  Stay on it!

Zapstix Salisbury Shop Opening Party

Come out and join Zapstix Saturday Night @ Surf side 5 Salisbury Beach.  Pat Hall and Friend's will be playing as the "Dead Air Project".   We'll be selling raffle tickets to win prizes from Zapstix, Bern, Anarchy and more!  Proceeds go to benefit the Linda Jo Fund.  The "Surfer's Ball"  is being held on the eve of International Surf Day, so come on down and ring in the  New Year!

Condition  knee high sets.  Winds are ENE 5 mph.  High tide is 12:45pm  and low tide is 6:50pm.   LB waves should stick around for tomorrow, get on it!

KOOK REPORT

Be on the look for a white Saturn SUV, with Quebec license plate and a Walmart white  cobalt surf board on top!   These guy's should be considered KOOKS!  They  where caught yard sale-ing in the Zapstix parking lot.  This is unacceptable, and were bull shit!  Go open your surf shop if you think it's so easy.   I can guarantee one thing kooks, you will never catch a wave, if were in the water!  Something needs to be done because theses guy's will be pulling this shit all summer.
