Danny Update

Here is the latest forecasted path for Tropical Storm Danny.  With sustained winds of 40mph it certainly will be a less significant swell than Bill delivered.  We should see some fun waves.

We should start seeing better signs of swell by mid morning.  Check back as we will keep you posted with forecasts, pics, video and more.

The water is in the mid to high 60's.

Tides:
Sat High at 7:30 AM Low at 1:41
Sun High at 8:30 AM Low at 2:41
Mon High at 9:24 AM Low at 3:55

Wounded Warriors was a great success, thank you to all that gave a helping hand to our nations heros!  It was a moving experience to see the smiles after each wave was ridden.

Remember to give thanks to our Veterans when you see them.

Surf is slowing starting to pick up.  Currently there are some small knee high bumps.
Saturday should see waist plus.
Sunday shoulder plus.

We've got new Stretch Boards in as well as Bing LB's.  Stop on bye and check 'em out.

HURRICANE BILL SHOTS

So I'm a little slow on getting the Bill goods up and posted.  There is some video footy posted below and finally here are some stills.

It feels like Fall today on the beach with cool breezes and empty beaches.  Everyone has their eyes on the latest swell potential for this weekend.  This isn't going to be quite the event that Bill brought last weekend but we will see some swell.
Here is the latest path and timetable.

We should have a better idea by Friday night as to what path/how close to us (read strong winds) Danny will come.  Check back.

Hurricane Bill

Well there are some tired bodies this week after a great swell courtesy of Hurricane Bill.  It was great to have some long period ground swell accompanied by sun, warm water and light winds.

Sorry it took me so long to get some footy up but it has been quite a weekend.  Thanks to everyone who made it to our Endless Summer Sale.

It looks like we'll be seeing some more swell end of the week from another tropical system.  I'll update later as we have a better idea as to what we will see out of the system.  Let's hope for some more solid swell.

Pascal; enjoy the footy and I will be putting up some more photos later tonight as well.

Check out the footage of locals Pat Barry, Zap, Nigel, Mike Barry and Plum Island Johnny.

See you in the water,

Hurricane Bill:  Just out and it was fun, still long time between sets.  Set waves are currently chest high and clean, look for the swell to fill in as the day progresses and for size to build as well.  Check back later in the day and we'll have a better idea of exactly the mayhem that will be Big Sunday.

What does this mean for us here in NH?

While we might see some small lines before Friday night, we should start to see ground swell Saturday.  As of right now forecast models are calling for 6-7 ft at 16 seconds on Saturday and 7-8 ft at 16+ seconds.  This is a few days out and it is a hurricane so anything is possible.  Keep an eye on it and check back here for regular updates.
