SUP Sesh

Tomorrow morning there will be at stand up paddle board session at Salisbury beach out in front of the Surfing Bagel. It will begin at around 7 am. It's going to be a lot of fun, so come down and check it out!

Also, regarding other news...
10 years ago, Ralph Fatello surfed 365 consecutive days in Northern New England in memory of his father Gus and to also raise awareness to Diabetes. 10 years to the day this summer, he's doing it again. This time it's for cancer...he's calling it..."Catch a Wave for Molly!" This event is also for Eva Fatello, Joe Somogyi, Linda Paugh and the list goes on.
Start Date: July 26, 2010
End Date: July 26, 2011
At least one wave every day for one year.
July 26, 2010 at 9:00 am 10th Street at The Wall North Beach, Hampton, New Hampshire.

And for Bagel Shop news...
We are now serving shaved ice with many different flavors. We also now have an Iced Mocha Cappuccino that is so delicious! So come on by and try one and all the new items on our menu!

Ceals Free cone night, Linda Jo Fund.

The surf is about ankle to knee high today, not very much swell out their at all but its allways rideable and good to learn. the water is in the high 50's to low 60's.

Zapstix would like to thank everyone who was a part of the Ceals free cone last night last night. if any body didnt hear last night was Ceals ice creams free cone night, but instead of just a free ice cream all the donations, ice cream sales and t shirt sales all went to the Linda Jo fund. A special thanks to Ceals ice cream for making the whole night possible, Pat Hall and Dead Air for playing their tunes and bringing a crowd. Also thanks everyone who showed up and donated to the fund.

Thursday July 15, 2010- Art Show, Donovan Frankenreiter Show, Surf Side 5 After Party

The Donovan Frankenreiter show, the art show at the Surfing Bagel, and the after party at the Surf Side 5 was a great time. Friday Morning Surf

The surf is in the one foot and rideable range, with a warm water temp at about 67. Perfect to go play around in the water.

TONIGHT at the SURFSIDE 5 live musical performences by Pat hall and Dead Air, and also Jonny D and The boys. The Gig starts at 9pm. dont be late and come for a good time.

SURF FORCAST their may be a slight chance of a bit bigger wave into next week, so keep reading and keep up on your swell wach..dont wanna miss the hard to come by waves in the summer.
Were in the shop everyday 9-9 and 9-8 on sunday and we open the surfing bagel every morning at 7 o clock sharp, so come by and rent a stand up or have a coffe or do both!

Thursday afternoon report and Happenings

The surf today is under one foot, probably the smallest day out of the week, but great for Stand up paddling to cool off, the water is 68 degrees super warm today.

Dont forget you can stop by the surfing bagel in salisbury any time of the day for a coffe, bagel, beverage or a stand up rental or even lesson. stand up lessons are 45$ an hour just like the regular lessons are. but if you all ready know how to stand up you can rent one for 25$ for 5 hours or 50$ for the whole day!

TOMORROW NIGHT at the SURFSIDE 5 Pat Hall & dead air, also Jonny D & the boys are playing live music, that starts at 9 0'clock pm. And Pat wants everyone to bring their dancing shoes! The Surfide 5 Gigs are allways fun for everyone.

Come into the shop and check out our large selection of Stand up paddle boards by: Oxbow, Doyle, and Bic. Also were allways getting new Long and short boards in the shop so when your ready to Step up to a new board come see us and well set you up with great equipment.

Other than that dont stop reading our blogs! and come into the shop any day 9am.-9pm. everyday or sundays 9am.-8pm.

Surf Report 7/21/10

The surf today is about one foot and rideable at the right tide. The water is 64 deegres and the wind is on shore.

Don't froget, you can rent stand up paddle boards at both the surf shop, and now the bagle shop for $25 half day and $50 for a full day.

JULY 26 8-10PM IS FREE CONE NIGHT AT CEALS! Come and support the memory of a friend, neighbor, and wife, Linda Paugh, who passed after a battle with caner. All monies, even tips, will be donated to "The Linda Jo Fund" and "The Ovarian Cancer Research Fund." 

FIRDAY NIGHT the 23rd at SURF SIDE 5 the DEAD AIR PROJECT with the almighty Pat Hall and Jonny D will be playing. They start at 9 and play untill close. Come and join the scene.

Stop by the Surfing Bagel to sample the new "Sesh Wrap" made with peanut butter, bananas, dry oats, and maple syrup! Its full of protien and deliciousness.

July 26, 2010- Ceal's Ice Cream Event

This evening join us at Ceal's Ice Cream Stand for some fun, treats, and aid to a good cause. All proceeds tonight, will go to the Linda Jo Fund. So come on down and get yourself a nice ice cream cone, or cup for those messy eaters out there. The event will commence promptly at 8 pm lasting to about 10 pm. Don't miss out on a night of fun  for a good cause!
